Washington, DC - The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) has announced that its 2006 Success Rate Reports are now on-line. With 343 clinics reporting, the reports include data on 126,397 treatment cycles which resulted in the birth of 50,769 babies.

The SART reports are the most up-to-date information available on assisted reproductive technologies in the United States. Each SART member clinic has its own summary page detailing its procedures and success rates. The clinic summary pages allow users to customize their views of the data- sorting for diagnoses and treatment types- so that they can see the data that is most relevant to their own experience.

At www.sart.org, patients can search for member clinics in their area, request information directly from those clinics in just a few clicks, and view national summary data in addition to individual clinic reports. And SART’s site provides a wealth of additional information to guide patients through the ART process.

While all US fertility clinics are required to report outcomes data to the CDC, SART members choose to report on the SART site, investing additional resources in order to get their information to the public more quickly, in a format that facilitates patient-clinic communication. “Patients benefit from fresher, easier-to-understand data and clinics support an organization dedicated to supporting them- it’s an undeniable value proposition.
