ASRM’s Annual Meeting promises to be a special experience this year, as we convene in beautiful Hawaii.  We hope you will able to join us at the Honolulu Convention Center, just down the road from Waikiki Beach.

The theme of our meeting, change, is reflected in the emergence of new genetic tools and techniques from basic science which are now finding a place in clinical medicine. The meeting’s scientific program has been planned to incorporate genetics into reproductive medicine, highlighting new methodologies and capabilities in genetic diagnosis and preimplantation genetic screening.

The latest scientific advances in reproductive endocrinology will be discussed, as well, along with their clinical applications.  Symposia, plenaries, and interactive sessions will address gamete and embryo development, stem cells, reproductive options for patients, disorders of the male and female reproductive system at different ages throughout the lifespan, the effect of cancer and its treatment on human reproduction, and more!  Information on meeting sessions can be found in the Preliminary Program at http://www.asrm.org/2014Program/.

The Media Registration Form is on-line at http://www.asrm.org/MediaPreRegistration/.  We will issue credentials and press kits on-site at our press room in the Honolulu Convention Center.  Please see http://www.asrm.org/Media_Registration_Policies/ for our media registration polices.

All scientific sessions, except for ticketed Roundtable Luncheons, are open to credentialed media.   If you would like to cover one of the post-graduate courses on Saturday, October 18 or Sunday, October 19, please contact Eleanor by October 8 to make arrangements.

We very much hope you will be able to attend the meeting, but we understand that this year’s location might present difficulties.  We plan to hold a number of call-in press briefings, via telephone, under embargo, in the week prior to the meeting.   If you are not able to be with us in Honolulu in person, please use the to sign up to be invited to  our call-in briefings and to receive the meeting press releases.
