ASRM Action Alert Challenge
Date: May 29, 2024
Author: ASRM
Are you an ASRM member looking to sharpen your advocacy skills? The Office of Public Affairs has an exciting opportunity for you! From June 1–October 1, our team will be tracking member engagement on the Action Alerts we share via email and socials, which we use to notify members about newly introduced bills impacting IVF and reproductive rights in their state. Two winners will be announced at the finish line: a “stellar attendance” award will go to the member who responds to the largest percentage of Action Alerts in their state, and one “high scorer” award will be given to the participant who responds to the most Action Alerts overall. These winners will get to pick a prize of their choice from the ASRM shop and will receive a congratulatory shout-out on the official ASRM Instagram! The leaderboard will be posted to our story each month to update participants along the way.
The quickest way to affect change in your district is by forming a relationship with your representatives, and the best way to strengthen this relationship is by contacting them regularly about the issues that matter to you. Our Action Alert system makes calling, emailing, and tagging your reps easier than ever. For an explanation video on the role our Action Alerts play in the legislative process, click here.
Get ready to advocate, and we’ll see you in October!
